Happy New Year!

jess5262

And we're off, already half way through January.

I hope your Christmases went well and all the gifts were well received. I know some people don't like this time of year, it can be hard getting back to normality after all the festive fun but I'm secretly loving this little, calm month of slowness.

Lavender Sardines £20

January for me is a time to catch up on everything that had been left to one side during the Christmas crush so the steadier pace has been lovely. cupboards and drawers have been sorted through and bags of the too small & too old have been dropped at the charity shops.

cards £2.25

We're slowly restocking with some original vintage finds and putting our orders in for some carefully chosen new exciting things to bring to you. As always we try to buy the less ordinary and bring in ranges from smaller independent makers to run along side the more well known ones like Emma Bridgewater, Susie Watson and Gisela Graham. keeping nature, sustainability and the environment at the forefront.

New spring Emma Bridgewater trays £40

Vintage Swarovski Crystal and Moorcroft pottery

New Emma Bridgewater Snowdrop Mug £22

We've just done a little restock of the cards and the needle felt animals as they're always popular any time of year.

Needle felt creatures from £5

Lancaster will be celebrating the Chinese New Year the weekend of the 5th & 6th of February. The city streets have been decorated with red lanterns to bring prosperity to all and many of the window displays have tigers as its the year of the tiger. Most of the independent businesses will be running discounts and specials offers that weekend. It would be a fantastic time to visit.

see Facebook page @lancastercny for details.

We hope to see you very soon

Jess
