Be creative with the details, we at Penny Street Collectables are all about the details!
From woven cotton throws, screen printed lampshades, wicker baskets or just one or two lovely pottery mugs, it's the small, quirky details that make your home interestingly yours.
We've always loved a mix & match ethos, both new & old brought together to make for creative loveliness.
We love to discover a new artisan maker or crafter who we can bring into the mix. We've noticed we had a few new subscribers lately so thought to mention what we try and do here as well as show you some new exciting new things!

March has been a busy month so far, always a lot going on in March. The very important international Women's day tomorrow was brought to my attention this year by the brilliant @HollyTucker who supports female founders always but each March she especially marks out International Women's Day to shine a light on female run businesses. Women being able to work in a way we choose with more flexibility to achieve equality and that means running our own businesses! Please see @holly&co for more details.

Officially Spring Time starts and brings hopefully some warmer weather, and of course the 27th of March is Mother's Day. We're happy to see the beginnings of spring popping up everywhere including in the shop.
We have the new 2022 Emma Bridgewater pottery & tin spring designs in now which are so bright and colourful, the new Flower & Garden Birds are particularly pretty this year. The Snowdrop, Bluebell, foxglove and Poppy are very hard to choose between, and the little Wren and friendly Blackbird are already proving firm favourites.

We've donated a percentage of our takings last weekend to the @sunflowerofpeace charity. The charity will provide medical supplies for Ukraine. Obviously the situation is terrible and our thoughts are with them all.
